BIO
I started working in the indoor Climbing industry in 2007 and have fulfilled most roles in the indoor facilities sector. I have been involved either as part of a team or as the lead in setting up multiple climbing and extreme sports centres as well as numerous autobelay parks and governance roles or consultation. With a Masters degree in Sports and Business Management and the hands on experience of running centres, as well as overseeing the largest Climbing estate in the UK, I am happy to be able to put a positive stamp on the UK and international indoor climbing scene. Most recently this was at the UKs premier lead climbing venue - Westway Climbing.
I was the Regional Climbing Manager for Everyone Active for 5 years leading the way in growing a considerable share of the UK Climbing market through developing and expanding multiple sites from dedicated Climbing to "Clip and Climb" sites and everything in between. I evolved away from this role towards more governance focused roles and concentrate on work as an Associated Trustee for NICAS.
